Amman will most likely be the starting point (and possibly the end) of your Jordan itinerary. While you don’t need many days here, it’s definitely worth reserving some time to explore the capital. One of the best places to visit is the Citadel, a must-see whether you’re traveling with kids or not. It offers some of the best views of the city, including a stunning view of the Roman Theater.

You can explore the Temple of Hercules, the Amman Citadel, and a small museum. The best part is that children can move around freely without the worry of traffic, making it an easy and enjoyable visit for families.
